Just hoping it's not a no now and hoping they are kinda waiting for an indication of visa time scales? From those who have submitted.

I'll wait till the 11th June, that'll be 2 months then since the psychological assessment. 🙈🙈
have you had any update yet?
I called today to see if there was any update etc. they said can’t give an update or a timeframe they do further processes. Don’t really know what that means but didn’t seem like wanted to talk to me so can’t be great news.

Recruiting will be very much working hard to get all the applications finalised. I’d very much say that no news is good news to be honest.

Yeah I suppose, just slightly concerning that every time I spoke to anyone from recruitment before the ask if I could be there September. I could but I need an answer and now it’s getting to the point that realistically would visa etc be completed by then.

we also want to travel a bit before arriving so was holding off quitting work and selling up etc but we most likely just going to leave shortly before becomes too late in the year.

I had my final assessment like a month and a half ago so would have hoped I would have had a congratulations you on the selection pool or a no thanks we not interested by now.

If it’s any help it was the same for me in 2007. It’s a move that many of us were desperate to make and we thought that not hearing something meant that something had gone wrong.
I remember having my interview in the February of 2007 at Australia House. A week later I got the email saying that I’d been successful. Mrs Smally24 and me went to the pictures to see Hot Fuzz as she wasn’t sure that she even wanted to emigrate. A very surreal day.
Anyway heard nothing for ages. I’m telling a couple of people at work that I’m in, but then wondered if I’d spoke too soon. From memory everything started to move around July.
Like I said, if you’ve got this far I’m sure everything will be fine.

Hey guys, yes slightly frustrating ....

Had my 1 to 1 Pyschological interview on the 11th April, I've email back since and they said I have progressed?

Just a waiting game I guess.

Does anyone who may be in the know on this page think recruitment are struggling to meet the demand. Or have they reached their quota of applicants for now? Seems very quiet on here.

Congratulations, the news worth the wait I guess.

What is the next stage after that? Have you had the job offer now?

They are still taking applicants, know someone who submitted their application the beginning of this week and had their application accepted for the fitness test stage, so would suggest they have not yet got their quota of applicants.

Markof1979 There should be no other stage for me, just a simple Yes or No would be nice. So I'm in limbo really which is a bit disappointing. Especially when we are given time frames to get things done by.

Was not sure if there was a medical or not, or if that is part of the Visa. Got my Psycological interview approaching so seems like I have a bit of a wait on my hands.

Markof1979 yes there is a police medical I did. There is also a more in depth one for the visa.

After 1 to 1 psychological video call on zoom, that I think is the end.

Ah right, not done the police medical yet, so maybe doing it in a different order. Who knows, will treat it as a suprise for the next stage. Ha.

last time I spoke to them it appears that the process has changed an led the psychological comes before the medical and bankruptcy checks now.

hopefully the change isn’t causing some confusion with us and that’s why they are taking so long.

Honestly folks. The process can take time. It was the same when I joined in the UK and it was the same when I joined over here as well. We have so much invested into making the move we all think that no news means that we’ve been forgotten about.
I’m happy to take PMs from anyone or answer any questions on the public board. Just remember though that I can’t talk aboutabout specific applications though.

Do you know where the shortages are? What are the most likely areas those successful at this recruitment campaign likely to be posted?
