Morning - newbie here!

Quick Q re: the age limit for applying. Hubby (who is applying) is 47 with 15yrs service - is he too old? WA Police recruitment website says they will accept applications from people aged up to 55yrs old, but visa requirements are 45yrs & under?

I’m 49 and have an interview. So I say go for it. It’s got to be worth a punt and not to forever wonder “what if”.
They have a special age dispensation of 55 at present agreed.

Congrats Mossy fair play, I'm still awaiting that email.

In relation to the visa my understanding is wapol obtained a special agreement which will allow applicants obtain a visa upto the age of 55yrs.

Thanks Mazy09. I submitted my paperwork for the physical on 3rd December. I done my psych test a few days before that.

Hi, I submitted 28th November and haven't heard back yet. Lots of others submitted after this and have heard.
As of yet I don't think anyone has received an email saying " you've been unsuccessful".
