You won't be given a confirmed starting date until you have your visa in your grubby little mitts

When I got the offer of employment, the offer was conditional on my being given a visa, but the offer came with possible course dates.
My conditional offer was given in Feb 2013, with the possibility that if my visa came through quickly enough, I may have got on the May course. I was then told then if the visa didn't come through in time, I would be on the September course.
As it was, my visa took about 11 weeks to come through and the Sept course had been changed into 1 x Sept course and 2 x October courses.

So the answer is - you don't you're "IN" until you get your visa.

its definitely not 10 meters wide, 4-5 seems right, I did the testing in May, no-one failed the beep test but 3 of the 30 failed the agility test. So that is the one I would recommend everyone to work on, technique plays a very big part so getting some advice from a trainer would go along way.

I passed mine when I had it about 10 meters wide but ill keep cracking away at it. It's the push ups that are causing me a problem. Think full push ups are MUCH easier for fellas than girls

Hi fellow Oz hopefuls, just a quick note. I spoke with WAPol recruiting this am and have changed my date, due to a family bereavement. The recruiter stated that "some people have cancelled", so read into that what you want. Maybe the odds have lessened a tad.....

Anyone doing their fitness on the 26th ????

Not yet but was looking at the St Giles as Baddog (an old sparring partner) had recommended it to me.

Lol. Fair play I will stick with the single room save fundage. May take a swim and a steam room on the evening though if you fancy it
