The first year or so is a bit costly with the low wage and move associated costs, but I have no regrets whatsoever coming out here. The future seems alot brighter over here than the bleak prospects that lie ahead for the UK thanks to years of poor budgeting.

It's quite a bit different, and it's not for everyone. A few will always return hom, but I don't intend to be one of them

The day my husband and i went, it SHOULD of been the situps with the twist but they said just normal situps on his day. I actually asked it had changed and one Sapol officer told me that too many people were failing them.

I do know of others those on the April 2010 course who still had to do the situps with the twist and i believe in the past that they have always been the situps with the twist. Just to be on the safe side i would practise the twisty sit ups and make sure you can do enough of them and if you find out on the day of your interview that they are normal situps then you will be ok!!

Good luck

Hi all,
@Chris_Zuzi; With regards to the sit ups. Did your hands have to be on the side of your head, or were they not to concerned with where they were, just as long as you did a sit up?

I appreciate all the info everyone is providing

Dave

The general talk is that if it is twists its touching your temples but others say normal sit ups. I will just be practicing twists as its the harder of the two and if its normal ones then they should be easier (thats the plan anyway!)
Just waiting on my email now for the date, I know other have theres already, I take it there getting sent in bits? otherwise ive not had mine yet!!
