Just curious as to whether there is any BE's on here that are in the QLD police? I am looking to join when we eventually arrive and would welcome any advice? I am currently a Firefighter (14 years), aged 41and feel like a career change when we get there.

Hi, john there are a few on here from time to time. I myself was ex Met officer now Qld. Funny you should say about career change from fire officer, there is a chap round the corner who was fireman in Somerset he is now a cafe owner (must have been the cook in the fire canteen).
