Has anyone applied to NZ Corrections? Why would anyone want to do that job?

Yes. People do apply to NZ Corrections & I know several that do this work.

I don't think I'd be cut out for that job, I don't know anything about the culture there the lifestyle or the environment.

I would have thought you have to be a new Zealand resident at least?

Actually no. NZ Corrections is an NZIS Accredited employer. That allows them to employ suitable applicants from overseas or non NZ residents/citizens if they so choose. The applicant then uplifts a work visa or permit per the contract offered.

Looks like this could be just the ticket for many ex UK police looking to make fresh start overseas now it looks like NZ police Australian Canadian police opportunities have dried up what does everyone think?

Best thing to do is get on that website I just checked it out and get your applications in!!
