They will not be employing 10000 Border Guards. Thats a communication trick. The 10000 number will be achieved by directly employed Border Guards and seconded ones on long term deployments. I read somewhere the projected number they are looking to employ directly but can't remember. Will look for it.

Fully agree.
It's all in the new Frontex Regulation in force on the 4th of December 2019. Worth reading it. But do not ignore your situps! :-)

I'm reading it while doing my one-arm push-ups.
Tried during situps but I'm losing count.

Tell me about it!...
But I'm sure we'll get there. Good luck. Started the beep test last week. Both speed and endurance achievable within my age group.
I'm wondering if they will allow clapping hands push-ups?
What do you think?
:-)

Sorry guys, I'm as inpatient as most of you are. Just trying to take it easier.
I'm sure they know what they're doing.

I am going with end of January. Prob Friday the 31st hehe. Mid February by the 10th-15th emails for the physicals beginning of March. Beginning of March the physicals and two weeks later interviews. Thinking offers and medicals in April. Hope we get enough notice to make arrangements esp plane tickets otherwise it could get pricey!
