Will you ask for temporary discharge or are you supposed to quit your job?

Hi guys,

Passed the physical last week, but just wondering can you add some clarity to what I have read on this forum..750 are being recruited..First phase is currently being trained online, 2nd phase is in October and 3rd phase is in November is my understanding of this correct?

Job offers are to come next but any idea when this will occur ?

Lastly is the pay listed on the conditions of employment the amount we will be received or is the co efficient still to be applied ? This was discussed at the very beginning of this thread but it doesn't seem to have been cleared up.

thanks for reading, sorry for list of questions

Doesn¨t make sense to me as the first batch is already having on line courses and received contracts, as far as I know.. Does that mean 2 more batches? Who knows.

Great to hear that. Was living in Bishopstown for a while and played for Highfield RFC. All the best mate!

I guess you mean second and third batch, as first one is already being trained.

So we won't get any info during all summer, very nice.

Thanks a lot for the info, Frontex doesn't say anything when asked.

Yes, second in October and third in November. First batch started online training few weeks ago.
At the end of July or in August we will get result. If we passed interview and PA test we will be placed to the reserve list, and executive director will pick most suitible canditates, who will subsequently receive job offers.

I dont know yet. I asked for a temporary discharge or a "return guarantee" but they are still discussing this. If I will not get any of that, I do not know if I will quit my job. That is kind of a step, you have a probation time of 9 Months. What if I do not get through? There is still a mortgage to pay. Moreover, its not the easiest time to find another job.
I am wondering if there are others that really quit their current job for this one.

Well in my country we can't ask for temporary discharge or any return guarantee, we have one option: just quit. At this moment we have a lot of questions, but no answers. Also the 9 months probation period is one thing, medical examination is another thing if I fail it, personally I can't return to my previous job.

Marek, is this coming from a Frontex examiner? If that's so, you have made my day, man.
