Thinking about it I might save my money and not apply for the IQAS, t he more I read through the personal disclosure form the more I think they are going to send it back with a no. I am a tech criminal it seems never seeded but have watched the old streaming movie or downloaded a dvd and watched it then deleted it. I have a feeling they like 100% straight edged people and I have failed on that front, I just relized my copy of windows I have had for 4 years is fake because I am looking to buy windows 7 and and checked for an upgrade but I remembered when looking it was not good so I am buying the full copy instead to move away from anything bad on my PC.

Was nice while the dream lasted but I think I will save myself the shame.

Wannabe, whether you apply or not is completely up to you.

I assure you they are not looking for 100% straight edged people, as they don't exist. Everyone makes mistakes, it how you deal with those mistakes that makes you the person you are.

If it really is your dream what is a few quid to at least try, it really cant be that important if you give up at the first hurdle without even trying.

All current EPS officers are angels temporarily here on earth before going to heaven upon their retirement. Nobody I know has ever had any pirated software on their computer, smoked any drugs, ever looked at any pornography or got into a fight. We're all teetotal and meet up at church every Sunday. Personally, I've never so much as sworn at anyone ever in my life and while I was at university was a member of the Christian Fellowship so never got time to try cannabis. I've never driven my Toyota Prius over the speed limit and I recycle everything. I'm always worried about global warming and racism.

Thats so funny Stewie! Just because of the stories Ive heard from some officers and their pasts!!! If all officers were like the quote they wouldnt last 5 minutes on the street nor in any emergency service....lol!!!! Oh and wannabe you should still submit your application, especially if this job is your dream.

PS-City budget should be finallized today!!! Fingers Crossed!!!!

We must be related Stuey!!! Save the Uni bit. I was too busy to go, owing to my voluntary work in rehabilitating heroin addicts and criminals!

It appears EPS got its budget (less 1 mill), hopefully info will filter down to recruiting soon!

Hopefully both you and Stuarc will get the job offers in soon then.

I hand delivered my PR application at Canada house earlier today. The delivery part was the easiest bit of the application!

Ok I have read through every page now and taken all the information in and been researching like mad. My missus is very much up for this as is my daughter who is not born for another 2 weeks

I have called EPS like 3 times now saying I have done this and that wrong can I still apply and they said yes it seems although we shall see, I am going to go into this heart and soul with such great support from my other half.

I have no doubt I will be honest with them and if they bin me they so be it, I know other people dont air the reasons why they were binned, like Nick back some pages failed, I do wonder why, I know he would not say and I can understand why, but you have my word people that if I fail I will give full disclosure, I don't care about keep facts to myself, if I can do the things wrong that made it so I fail then I can share with people why, I think it will help, I keep thinking in my head all the things I have done in my life and for the life of me I doubt I can remember every little detail but I am guessing that if I mention it in the interview if it comes to me after not putting it on my form, I am sure they will understand.

Well done to everyone who has got to where they are so far. I hope to be next, I want a new start in life and this is where its going to go. I am going to download the policeprep stuff and from tomorrow I am starting up circuits and what not at my local gym.

If anyone wants to pm me with stuff that would help me that they dont want to on here, like bits about the test. Wherever you failed or not I would happy to here from both sides and of course I would not share the information with anyone else.

How do you know what examples to give for BDI do they give you a form of the questions they are going to answer?
I saw on here that someone said you need police experience to apply, I am only a special and they seem fine with me applying now?

Thanks again
