I know you enjoy trolling this forum because you don't think UK police officers should be able to work abroad, but in this case the RCIPS (the police force of the Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory and NOT an independent country) have published a job advertisement for overseas applicants that people have contacted them about. This is not about British police officers feeling an entitlement to work there or anywhere else for that matter - they purposely recruit UK officers (and Canadians, so if you ever manage to get into the police, you can apply too.)

You must have a lot of time on your hands to reply to every thread on here with veiled sarcastic comments.

No I genuinely love the Caribbean and wasn't being sarcastic. I did contact JCF and RBPF about working there. Who are you to write such criticisms?

Who posted the new Zealand corrections opportunity for everyone's benefits? Me.

I know Cayman Bermuda etc actively recruit from outside.

Never said there was an issue.

It's a bit rich you saying that what did you ever post to help anyone out?

Yeah, ok.

Even a cursory look at your posting history shows what your angle is. It's blatantly obvious.

I have split this conversation away from the Royal Cayman topic as the opening poster did not want it cluttering up the thread.

You can continue to disagree with each other MO here BUT please do so politely with regard to Rule 1.

Cheers.

Thanks as I said NZ corrections are recruiting internationally via the link I posted.

I'm also interested in hearing from any officers who have joined jamaican or Bahamian police
