Please feel free to PM me everyone. I'm currently here as a uniformed cop.

I have sent off my application to HR and am very keen to join the team out there. How long have you been out there?

Since Feb 2018. I don't think you have enough posts yet to PM me.

Correctamonte. There are reasons for that .

Perhaps have a chat on the forums first. Or maybe send a BE email if that won't do.

Thanks.

thank you. I will have more chats on here. I was just keen to know more about policing in uniform in the Caymans as that is what I am wanting to do. I have achieved alot working in Westminster for the Met and now I wish to share my knowledge and to also learn more from you guys out there.

The first thing you'll learn is that RCIPS isn't a Home Office force!

I sent the application in April. Think lookingforsunshine sent in March and neither of us have had any reply or acknowledgement!

I think patients is the name of the game. I am sure they have all our applications on file.

They tend to advertise vacancies on Police Oracle Jobs and on the Cayman Islands Government jobs website (recruitment.gov.ky). I'm guessing they aren't actively recruiting at the moment but are keeping applications on file.

They recruited last year and the jobs were posted on Police Oracle.

Knowing Cayman, I don't think it's a huge surprise that the HR department don't bother replying to emails.

weve just called RCIPS HR.. response is that the advert is just for information and there is currently no active recruitment campaign.. possibly within the next 12 months!!!

That's the last 8 months of hope and plans wasted!

A quick update. There is an Experienced Officers intake planned for early next year if anyone is still interested. Looking at 8-10 bodies.
