Default Calgary Vs Edmonton

Hi,

My husband and I are looking to emigrate to Canada. He has 7 years service with Cheshire Police and wants to apply to Calgary or Edmonton.

We've checked the two websites and saw that Calgary aren't recruiting at the moment, but Edmonton are.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but are there any big differences between Edmonton and Calgary? Does anyone recommend one over the other?

Thanks for any advice you might have,

Helen

Helen,

There is so much info on both these cities that many people wont re-repeat.

One such thread is http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=569214

Try the search button for the Canada forums, there is so much info!

One thing that might help, Calgary has actively stopped recruiting international applicants although they do accept CV's. Edmonton on the other hand is still accepting formal applications.

Thanks for that Ashley,

i've been reading through posts on here for hours now, but only in the Police section, I didn't think of checking the main Canada forums

Thanks for the link.
