Hi All,

After having several weeks of not knowing whats happening with Calgary's current recruitment I decided to bite the bullet and email them to find out where things stand.

I got a very prompt reply. They are no longer accepting applications from international applicants but.... encouragingly they are accepting CV's and will decide from these who they would like to invite to apply.

I spoke to Calgary Police HR today 18/03/08 - I asked them if they were no longer acceping inter applications and they advised me to complete the application and send it in.

She did say things will be changing in April.

The process is not so much cancelled as it is slowing down. With so many applicants to process they are slowing it down a bit whilst they have an abundance.

The recruiting unit are top notch in Calgary and will help you all they can
