It's been a week now since i sent my application and i've heard nowt.
Only that they received it which appeared to be an automated response.

Hi all,

I heard from a lady in RCIP HR that they have been "overwhelmed" with application and have had over 1000 in so I am guessing it will be a while before they narrow anything down to next stage.

It would appear RCIPS have had thousands of applications. A colleague who has applied for FI post contacted HR yesterday as he is about to go on leave and was told they were unsure how long it would take.
I just hope they put the starting date back for those successful applicants. Good luck to all who have applied.

They'll need to put start dates back.
They need to paper sift, interview, await decisions from successful applicants, re interview 2nd choices....

I'd need 3 months to get my affairs in order. And that time is now. The longer it goes the more it cuts into preparation time.

Incidentally, does anyone know what shift patterns CID work?
