Hi,ime going to the Immigration Office on Tuesday to extend my visa,ive been told I will have to pay 500 Peso as a token jesture when I get to the office surely this cant be right,thanks.

Sounds about right, grease always makes a squeaky wheel work better. And there are no more squeaky wheels than in gov offices here.
