Just in case someone has not seen it yet, the USA, UK and Australia have issued a travel advisory.
Summary - on 9 April 2017, the US Embassy in Manila advised US citizens that it had received “unsubstantiated yet credible information that terrorist groups may attempt to conduct kidnappings in Central Visayas, which includes both Cebu and Bohol provinces; you should be especially vigilant in these areas
Especially with Easter fast approaching.

Abu sayaff kidnap squad of 10 are in a fire fight north east bohol. looks like they were tracked all the way.
I be very surprised if any of their number survive their wounds no matter how light.
