Hey, stick around! Even if you're not likely to become an expat in the near future there are lots of different sub-forums here that you might find interesting. Always good to just have a chat anyway Wishing you the best of luck and much happiness for the future.

Greetings one and all
My dream is to join my wife abroad in Asia but as I can't work in her country I need an income online so if anyone has ideas/links or suggestions especially if you are earning via the internet then please let me know
Thanks

PM sent to CD.
I closed this thread because it seemed CD was done & not posting again . However it now appears he is still wishing to move so I have merged his latest topic which was placed in The Lounge - re how to earn online - with this original thread which I have re-opened.
Yes. I know he has already recd some good tips re this.

Is this the same wife who last week said don't bother coming because you didn't transfer £60k into her account?

Re: Online income
Sounds harsh when written down but down that’s the reality. They also expect it which is why they become so possessive, money grabbing, insecure and unstable.

Re: Online income
I'm not looking for someone else and the message about an online income was posted in The Lounge forum but moved to this thread by BEVS. No offence to anyone but I'm being made a mockery of but I guess that can happen when someone is desperate like I am.

Teaching English online seems fairly profitable or depending where you live call centre work ( someone on this forum is well connected in this - sorry forgot his name though ), even the building trades are fairly desperate at the moment again depending where you live.

CD,
Yes, from what I understand you can work here in the Philippines after obtaining a 13a visa. However, there is a probationary period of 1 year after obtaining the visa and I presume after then you are eligible to work.
If you google 13a visa, there is some good info to find.
Good luck!
