In isolation it definitely looks black but against a black object there may be a hint of blue. 2 weeks, applied for and received in the UK. We'll be back in the Philippines in August so ideal time to get sorted whilst on vacation in the UK.

To me, whether I cover up the black object or not it is still a dark, though very dark blue.Think it could have been a bit bluer.
​​​​We had our front gates painted that color once. But a color expert said that people can differ in such cases where colors are close.
On the passport timing I thought we were talking here about renewing from the Philippines and this was the Philippines forum where that is what people are interested in reading about.

I will have only been in the UK 3 weeks tomorrow. Just add 3-4 days either side to cover tbe carriers and you would be about right. Still not much more than 3 weeks.

For those of you waiting for your new passport I think you will have to be patient, just seen in UK paper.
