Furnished apartments are rarely on offer. If you needed accommodation for only 3-5 weeks it would be difficult to rent. A far better proposition would be to stay in a cheap hotel or pension (?) house for that period.

We managed to put P11 in a place near the sea in La Union. I have messaged him for the price. I do have a UK friend that owns the Isla Bonita beach resort, San Juan. (google it). His place is probably more than your friend might want to pay, however because the accommodation would be required for 3/5 weeks a large discount would be offered. The owner Pat Laming would certainly be of great assistance.

It’s highly unlikely your friend would be allowed into the Philippines on a tourist visa. You might gain entry if balikbayan visas are being issued. You would still have to be quarantined for 7 nights in Manila. With the current restrictions it’s doubtful whether any tourists will be allowed into the Philippines this year without having to jump through many hurdles.

Did you really spend 3 years in Angeles City? It's La Union not Pangasinan. It's in the Ilocos region. A few hours north on the bus.

Nice photo. But the question is are you still keen on La Union now you realise it's easy to get there from Angeles? The golden or two islands rule. From what you have said in this thread you might need its protection.
