Been asked to go manage an office in Manila, am presently in Dubai and whilst I dont love it I like it. Manila would be a good promotion and a challenge.

Been to Manila several times, immediate thoughts are great for a single person but what would it be like for the other half!

What on earth would she do!

There is shopping of course.
Lots to see and do in Manila. Those with time to kill drink coffee in the malls such as SM. However the first week at least will be spent buying tropical clothes, and things for the home.
Swimming, gyms, beauty parlours, cinemas, bowling alleys they are all there.

I live in Cebu, and haven't visited Manila/Quezon that frequently for a long while. I am sure someone living there, will be along soon to offer more advice.

Hi, I did exactly the same thing last year. I already had a Branch Office in Manila, and travelled quite frequently. I have just closed everything in Dubai, and moved out the pets (What a Drama!)

Every City has its Good and Bad parts, so do not be fooled by what you are told by others. Driving is fine here too! - No Speed Cameras (The Traffic hardly gets out of Second Gear!) Drop me a PM if you need to know more.
