Take your marriage certificate, original copy plus some other photo copies. Also take photos of you together going back as far as possible
Your wife has a passport in her married name? or does this need to be upgraded from maiden name. Take maiden name passport as well.

Are ha once again we are blocked by a piece of paper our marriage certificate is some where between Sheffield visa office and my house in uk as we sent this for visa application.
no replys from Sheffield emails for where the papers are.
I find this a little disturbing that a UK visa is in my wife's passport (after the processes of getting that visa ) passport is in her new name and only 30 days from issue of visa to use that visa.

If passport is in her new name then the CFO must have been involved in issuing the Certificate as that is a requirement for name change when marrying a foreigner. My wife did the same,
