Stokkevn,

I use Gillette Mach 3 and I got replacement blades at a newly opened 7/11 store here. Prior to that it was e-bay.

Regards

Pete

Obviously not the Philippine E-bay, the only ones for sale on there from the Philippines were fake ones.

Watsons stores which are in shopping malls sell Wilkinson and Gillette cartridge razor blades. They do tend to be expensive.i buy Gillette Mach 3 there.

Yes as Quiltman says by the tills in SM, and also in toiletries, near the escalators. Gaisano Pacific in Mandaue have a big range of Gillette products. Cleverly hidden on a low shelf, left of the sachets of Shampoo. Schick razors are also available. The gels do seem to be very expensive. If no gel is available, go to the women's section and buy the Nivea shaving gel. It works fine.
Watsons had a special offer on Mach III in June.

You have to watch the prices as they can differ between the supermarket and the department store. Not by much but it all adds up!

Before when Equitable Bank (now BDO NRA) was a good source of bringing money in cheaply. We used to shop a lot in White Gold. Often they had British Goods there. Even Bic Razors on occasion. It was a case of: if you see it; buy it. The chance might not come again. Most was at a good price too. Even British Foods were there, but rarely the same thing twice.

If you want a really close shave, then go old-school:

But be prepared for blood for at least the first few days. There's a multitude of razor blades -- I never found much difference between them, they all managed to cut me.

If you're going to use disposable razors, then I don't think there's much in it among the premium brands. However, what will make a huge difference is something like a Razorpit, which keeps the blade(s) clean and therefore sharp: a standard disposable will last you a month of more. (It makes sense if you think about it: is your stubble really harder than a piece of stainless steel? Of course not -- what "bluntens" the blade is the build-up of debris on it: keep it clean and it will retain its cutting ability.)

I have a beard now.
