Question around Air Freight
Hi all
I have a relocation package offer in my hands and I'm trying to weigh up what the reality actually is.
What I can't visualize is what 500lb's of air freight from the UK to USA (LAX) would actually equate to - both in household goods (family of 5, not bringing beds/wardrobes/etc) but will be brining a couple of cabinets plus everything else!
Thanks for any advice

Usually the allowance you get is the gross weight not net, so includes all the packing materials too, so just double check that in your policy.
If it is gross then I'd suggest this would leave you around 60cubic feet before packing, which is equivalent to about 5 under the counter washing machines if that helps visualise?
Hope that helps!
