4 years in - busy busy!

So, been in NZ for four years now.
Still renting in ChCh (hoping to change that this year).
Still with my first employer - I'm Supervisor at a before/after/holiday programme.
Extra job - was asked by Principal where our programme is based if I would like to be a Teacher Aide, so I've been doing that since May and have had my contract renewed for the next school year.
I'm Area Co-Ordinator for a retired greyhound rehoming charity in Christchurch and this has helped hugely with making good friends.
Husband is a foreman with a construction company.
Eldest son still not completely settled. He's just applied to join the Police.
Youngest son working in retail and has moved into a rental with his kiwi girlfriend.
My daughter and my two grandchildren visited for the whole of their summer holidays. I miss them more than words can say.
My husband and I earn more than in the UK and our lifestyle is definitely way better than it was. We can afford to go away for weekends, pay for our daughter to visit us (this included a trip to Fiji
) etc.
None of us have yet made the trip back to the UK.
Downside - I miss my daughter, grandchildren and my Mum.
I don't like the temporariness of renting.
Think that's it!
Happy New Year - hope 2016 is a great one for us all!
