3 weeks in!

Hi all

Well the Crumps have been here 3 weeks now and jack dog has arrived safe and sound, the kids have done 2 weeks at their new school, Simon has finished his first week at work.

Oh and we have found a nice house to buy!!!!

We love it here, everyone we meet is really friendly, and we love the roads! Even the cold snap can't dampen our spirits!!!!

Not much I know, but it's just where we are right now!

found a house to buy already, thought we were quick at 6mths :D

seriously on the housing front make sure you put as many safe guards into the conditions and make sure you take out the longest possibly time to get them all back.

glad all is going well

Cool, needn't be too precise while you are moving but best to indicate you are here :)

wow does it all happen that quick.
If I get my job I will move out in Jan, and the rest of my family will be moving out during the year depending on uni and apprentiship finishing.
I was wondering whether to buy or rent. so much I don,t know.
But you sound so excited, just as I feel.

congratulations

Karin, I would rent first off and have a look round the area before you load yourself with a place you may not want to be in

Yeah, I agree that 3 weeks is still a holiday to some, but we have hit the ground running, we knew where we wanted to work, live and play, after masses of extensive research loads of emails and posts on here.... We knew we would only rent for a little while, and buy a home ASAP....

We have luckily found the perfect home, and having friends in the locality who have lived here for 38 yrs. we have just got lucky!

I wish you the best of luck, and do take time to research everything before you arrive.

So far the only real shock has been the damm price of the council rubbish bags!!!!!

Good luck.

Anna 😄

Glad to hear your doggie arrived safe and sound, and you've settled in so well.

We're still in the very early stages of the process, but our pooches have had their rabies vaccines and blood tests. I know I'm going to be a mess when we wave them off into quarantine, but defiantly wouldn't do this without them.

All the very best of happiness for your new life.
