Stating the obvious, but there are way too many housing developments and condominiums that have sprung up since then.
All I can say is, good luck to those who have invested here. I think Singaporeans and expats alike have realised that Iskandar is not all it's cracked up to be.

I haven't watched the video except for the first couple of minutes

I made a comment below the video saying that although I've lived in JB nearly 30 years ago no way would we consider it now. But for some reason the comment didn't appear.
Have to add that Channel News Asia does some very good news items and documentaries usually on Sunday Evenings.
