Hardware store and sawmill
 

Hullo there,

I was wondering, are there any good hardware stores here which carry a good amount of inventory and ideally one that you can browse around in?

Oh how I miss Ace Hardware.

Also, would anyone know or have pointers to a sawmill or lumber yard where one can buy timber, plywood and get stuff ripped to size and maybe planed as well? ....I'm seriously considering some DIY projects to add to my already overloaded plate.

I'll be most grateful for any pointers,

Well I know a saw mill up near Kuantan where we bought 500,000 or so sleepers.
Dunno if they do smaller jobs.

Hahahaha. I think that just might be a wee bit of an overkill for what I want. Thanks tho.
