What counts as full time hours

Got a job as nurse in Perth, arrive June. My employer (Charlie Gairdners) says that pay is dependent on how many years as well as how hours I have worked since qualifying as a nurse. My question is what is the minimum number of hours needed to be counted as full time? Any body know?
Thanks
Sara :)

Re: What counts as full time hours

from a vague memory its 1980 hours a year ... not definate just recall reading it somewhere about calculating full time for increments ; i have a problem in that i have been qualified since 1990 and have only not worked full time in the last 9 years ... but cant prove my previous hours as employers dont keep ex employee files for more than 7 years so cant get any records to prove it :(
