Uk registered nurse needed to help with revalidation
 

Hi, even though I haven't worked in the Uk for years, I've kept up my registration there as it was such a long and painful process to get in the first place. My revalidation is due in the next couple of days. I can't find a NMC nurse in the rural hospital in Australia that I work in, and the last nurse to help me three years ago has returned to the UK. I found a NMC nurse through Facebook to help me, and they are not answering my emails?? Is there anyone out there that can help me with my reflective discussion? I have everything else signed-off by my line manager. The discussion is the only thing that needs a NMC nurse. I did contact the NMC and try to get around this, and they were insistent.

Hi Jampit,
Were you successful in finding someone for your revalidation with the NMC? I am in the same predicament and recently posted to this forum looking for help finding someone for this same situation. I would be very grateful for any advice you can give me. I sincerely hope you have been successful!

As I was working in a short-term locum at the time, I didn't have contact with lots of nurses I knew. I reached out further and found another nurse who worked for the same agency. I would suggest some Facebook pages and nurse union blogs too.
