Register with NZ nursing board, then Australian NMC?

This may be a hair brain idea. But has anyone thought about registering in NZ as a nurse to speed up nursing registration/assessment and then applying under trans Tasman rules? Or wouldn't that work?

I can second that....it's definitely not quick, cheap or easy to register in NZ either! Found that out the hard way
