Default Public Hospital Bed Cuts - South Australia

The South Australian State Goverment has announced that it will close "hundreds of beds" due to Federal budget cuts.

Speaking to "The Advertiser" State Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis has said that the cuts will be passed on in full. He also claimed that the cuts for 2017/18 equate to 600 beds - which is the entire number of beds in Flinders Medical Centre.

I'd suggest if you are currently negotiating a position in SA (especially sponsored), you should check with the employing hospital that there offer is still valid.
