NASA problably have one of the best reputations, they are agency of choice for a number of facilities, i used to work for them and found them excellent, if your relaible there is usually lots of work. Think they are changing their name to Health Care Australia HCA... google them

thank you so much that may help i will try them fingers crossed my main problem i have is sponsership, once i have registered which appears to be fine i then have to find an agent to find a sponser for me although im visiting in september i would like to have a formal chat with a few nursing agencies any help would be appreciated

look online at the main job search sites such as seek.com.au as well as the online papers.
when i looked at seek a couple of months ago for adelaide there must have been 30+ jobs - you would then need to approach them direct to ask if they are willing to sponsor.
other than that, try agencies such a drake medox, beresford blake thomas etc.
keep an eye out in the nursing press too ... weekly ads for various part of aus in the nursing standard i notice.

hi just to say i have now got my registration with Ahpra ! how exciting i have e mailed a few agencies whom ?? dont appear to want to know reguards sponsership ??? a bit worrying so any news of companies that are would be brilliant so i now have to go to ahpra and take my id etc and get police checked ?? not sure how they do that since i dont live there yet ?? any help ? i am going in september so fingers crossed x

yes i have tried HCA as it is now just wondered did they sponser you ??? as this is where i am just now got my registration through !!! flying out in sept to try job hunt but before would be good fingers crossed thanks again

are you going on a tourist visa? if so, be careful when you go through customs - dont have copies of any documents or your cv in your hand luggage - it may be construed as not in the definition of the visa and you may be refused entry. im not sure about having it in your main luggage either, cos if you get your baggage searched you might be in trouble.
might be better scanning everything and emailing yourself copies so you can go into an internet cafe once in aus and print off what you need.

no, i arrived on a PR, don't think any agency will sponser to be honest, for Aged care try Bupa, i know they used to sponser, or one of the hospitals. Sorry dont know a greta deal about sponsership i'm sure someone on here will be able to offer suggestions
