Nursing Roles- Cancer Nurse Specialists
Morning,
We have been given an incredible opportunity, my husband has been offered a transfer from the UK military to the Australian military. They will pay for visas, shipping etc so there is not much risk to us financially.
However, I am a very experienced (17 yrs registered), degree level registered nurse working in a specialist area and I am keen to know if I could do a similar job in Australia as my job is very important to me.
I work with newly diagnosed cancer patients, providing them with expert knowledge, support and advice throughout their various treatments. I also coordinate their cancer care, I.e arranging scans etc. Is this a common role in Australia? We would probably be settling around Nowra, so not near one of the big cities.
Many thanks in advance for your advice.
