Hi my husband and I are both UK trained RMN's. We are hoping to move to Canada, BC or Alberta, as our RMN is recognized there. We would love to hear about others experience of Canadian psychiatry and the differences from UK.

We worked in New Zealand for 3 years and had a very mixed experience with poor pay to say the least, hence back in UK.

I am a nurse cognitive behavioural psychotherapist, is this recognized or used in Canada?

As a nurse psychotherapist, you can have your own private practice ,
work in a Mental Health facility or teach in a nursing college .
