Default Can a solicitor certify documents for AHPRA?

I have looked at AHPRA website for those outside Australia who can certify documents and it specifies a notary public or justice of the peace. My question is would it be acceptable for a solicitor to certify my documents? Anyone else been through this and can advise?

A solicitor will do it but ONLY if they are registered as notary public. It can be expensive so shop around. I managed to find a retired solicitor who notarised all of my documents for £60
