Re: Yummy NZ foods?
I am not a crazy mixed up kid. more importantly I am not a spolied child. well. (if anything wrong) I just don't enjoy eating & buying rubbish as I know what's good and what's bad for me. That's about it.
As a sensitive person I easily notice the small differences in the taste of food or drink, that sometimes makes my life harder (I can't help). + I am meticulous - perfectionist, problem is that I apply these things professionally (as a result I work much harder & longer than my peers in my current job) and will not compromise for an easy life. + As one who has always had a perpetually enquiring mind and ultra sensitive ear - I used to be a (concert) violinist in my teens (for 19 yrs training since I was 4 yrs old) I guess that has hugely affected my character today, being fussy, etc. But Ain't Nothing Wrong With It ... ?
I enjoy/am VERY Good at cooking (cos I am smart) but dislike eating.

I am married to a once concert violinist who also began at four and had great talent were it not for the pushy-parent syndrome and he's very laid back and not remotely 'fussy' (other than about his choice of partner I hasten to add) , so I'm not sure you can blame that
There's nothing at all wrong with a perpetually enquiring mind. Perpetual enquiring mind= a good thing. Perpetual whining= boring.
