Question Your Thoughts

Lynmore, Rotorua good! bad! or indifferent

If not here then feel free to offer up suburbs that you might choose/chosen and the reason why.

Me, Wife, Daughter (10) & Son (8)
We'd like to be near'ish to the water (not near the sulphur smell) and not right in the centre of Rotorua, prefer an outer suburb with good primary/intermediate school, ideally a few shops for necessities, yunno! what i mean, a family type feel to it.

Does such a place exist ?

Lynmore is lovely.
We live in Pukehangi/Sunnybrook at the back end of town and like it here,
Westbrook school is really good and as for senior schools either John Paul College or Western Heights.......had a bad experience with Girls High, daughter starting new school on Monday.
Anywhere in Rotorua you will be near the water.....the Blue lake is gorgeous. The sulphur smell is really only in isolated pockets near town and around the Tgnae Rd area.
