Hey all, me and hubby came to new zealand end of july. We have a son aged 6 and daughter aged 9. Hubby is 31, im 32. We are living in botany downs and love the area, only 1 problem, we are looking for other families or even just another couple who we could meet up with at weekend and have a coffee or a wine? Im finding the friends part really difficult and feel its holding me back in feeling settled, i had close friends in scotland who i could just visit if i wanted a quick half hour yap and miss the feeling of having friends i can meet to just talk to. I have 1 friend who came over not long before us and feel its time now to meet others, hope there are others in same situation as me who might be looking for someone close by to meet up for a coffee etc, thanks, claire
