I've noticed, at least in Auckland, that very few motorcycles filter during rush hour...

Looks as though Kiwi's call filtering 'Lane Splitting' and if done slowly and safely is treated same as UK... Apart from which it is one of the main reasons I ride bikes...

Yup, lane splitting seems to be the same

When I'm on the northern motorway theres a constant stream of bikes filtering
between the long rows of static cars. Be careful though I see a lot of rapid lane
changes from idiot kiwi drivers who dont indicate.

It makes me laugh when i see a bike in a line of traffic, i,m straight up the middle thats the whole point of being on a bike
