I already have a turkey coz Mr BEVS could eat it 'til it came out of his ears. He is given a sizable ham from his firm for Christmas so that takes care of that.
At a suggestion from a kiwi pal of mine last year, when I was on my own-some , I will freeze half. I was skeptical but it works.

I miss a few things. Tesco donuts (freshly baked and all warm), Walkers Crisps, Paxo Sage & Onion stuffing, proper runner beans (could eat a plateful) - better stop there!! Could go on!!! But there are a few shops that you can buy UK foods but they are expensive. I guess we all change when we move to another country. We adapt - but to be honest, it was like going back in time regarding housing here.

That shouldn't be a problem if you're in Napier.
We got some from New World in Taradale last year. Uncle Bills & a discount shop (can't remember the name) opposite Countdown in Hastings sometimes stock it & there are a few boxes on the shelf in New World Havelock North at the moment

I have had some bloody awful Fish and Chips in Blenhiem and again in Paihia - but I've also had some awesome Fish and Chips in Mt Eden and in Hampden, as I have in Whitby and Kingsbridge in the UK.
I suppose if you live in one of the towns in the UK that has got to be further from the coast than 95% of all the others you're not going to find much good fish.
To the OP;
I can honestly say that I'm not and haven't yet craved anything from the UK, thus far. Thaen again, I haven't been back yet. I'm intruiged to realise what will surprise me about what I miss when I do.
If I was running a book, a pint of Tribute, Doom Bar and/or London Pride would be favourite. Then good sausages.
Having said that, the range of craft beers available and the improving standard of sausages in NZ has been duly noted and appreciated.
