WTR --> PR... visit back to the UK allowed?

Hi all,

After a bit of your wordly advice please

We currently have WTR visa's on the back of a PR application under the skilled migrant category (hubbys a spark).
Well he's been working for 6 weeks now, another 6 weeks and we can send off to have our visa's converted to PR.

So in theory this could be completed by October.

My brother has just announced he's getting married next May which means a possible trip back to Liverpool 11 months after we left it

So my question is - are there any restrictions on leaving/entering the country when you are issued with the PR?

Ta :)

When you gain your PR , you will be give a 2 year returning residents visa. This will allow you to leave and return to New Zealand.
you'll be fit to go for the wedding.

Great thanks all :) Only problem is we dont have $6K for the flights at the mo! Time to start saving eh.

So the 2 yr returning residents visa allows you to come and go as you please? Then after the 2 yrs are up what happens? Cheers
