World cup Christchurch

Hi all, looks like I will be in Christchurch for England v Slovenia (wife wants to go to the ballet) so does anyone know of a good bar to watch the footie on. :D

Wife and babe will be safely tucked up in our hotel bed but for some strange reason she is not keen on me setting an alarm and turning tv loudly on at 2 am in a hotel room, women :rofl:

The Bard on the Avon. Best Pub in Christchurch. Great atmosphere, great beer, great food, cosy fireplace. :thumbup:

Hi thanks for the reply, pub looks good but I emailed them couple of days ago to see if they're def open at 2 am thurs and not got a reply :(

They definatley will be. I used to frequent there 5 nights a week. They show all live sporting games at any time.
