Default WORKING FOR FUJITSU NZ

hello everyone, i am considering working for Fujitsu NZ and emigrating from the UK i was wondering if anyone had any views on them and could give me some advice as to what they are like to work for. Also the working ethics do they expect you to work 50 hrs a week and pay u for only 37.5 home working late nights that sort of thing

thank you

Hi and welcome to BE.

Cannot comment on what it is like to work for Fujitsu but I believe the conditions on what you can expect will be dealt with through the offer but lots of companies, especially non trade work, expect you to work until your job is done, regardless of your contracted hours, how you deal with that is entirely up to you. Trade work may be different, we have a lot of tradies on here so sure they can let you know about that.

What option for visa are you looking at?

thanks for your reply, i understand the working enviroment and i do at the moment work as a PM and work when is required but i also work to live i dont live to work so working long hours for free all the time is not acceptable. Visa will be sorted out by Fujitsu

I have worked for Fuj in Wellington and know lots of people who still do.
They're a good bunch of people, managers that I worked with were also good. I'd recommend them.

As a technical consultant there I didn't work any silly hours.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
