Work permit!!

Hi Guys!! I handed in my application for work permit and residence on monday lastweek and by thursday I had my passport sent back with the work permit stamped in it!!!! Amazingly quick turn around! The guy even said he expects my residence to come through in around 4 - 6 months..... It was deffo worth flying to Auckland for the medicals and luckily I only had to have to limited medical done and not the general one. So I saved quite a bit on that... Now time to job hunt in Christchurch!!!! |

I haven't followed your story so have probably missed something! How have you got a work permit without a job offer? [or are you the partner of someone with a job offer/permit?] It's only with you saying you were hunting for jobs in Chch... |
