On what basis do you intend to live and work in Australia? Have you got either New Zealand citizenship or a visa to move to Australia?

NZ Resident Visa nor NZ Permanent Residency Visa allows a person to live and work in Australia. To do that you must have NZ Citizenship. This is the only status that will allow you to live and work in Australia assuming you also meet the usual good character requirement.

If you don't have NZ Citizenship then you must secure an Australian visa that will allow you to live and work there or wait until you can get NZ Citizenship.

I remember this guy. All his posts are nothing but idiotic questions

He's got as much idea about moving here as I have about flying to the moon

If you had done even the most basic of research into life and living in NZ
you would know you could not live or work in Australia on a kiwi work or residency visa.

Sounds like your trying to find a back door into Australia because either
you don't qualify or more likely, they don't want you.

Pal, I choose NZ over Aust as my first destination , and i qualify for Aust ( btw) . Only one actually living in NZ then you experience the true life and living in NZ.

you would get more benefits going on via a UK application than a NZ one

Not quite with you there? If he qualifies for Aussie PR it doesn't matter whether he applies from the UK or NZ, the end result would be the same.

My understanding is that going over on a kiwi visa gives you less support and opportunities for families further down the line than if he applied on a UK visa.
