windy wellington?

Just HOW windy is Wellington?

We've not longreturned fromthe Falklands and it was windy 90% of the time with average winds of 30 mph. Bad days were 50 mph and we even hit 70 mph one day. I'm assuming wellington isn't that bad. Am i right?

16C right here right now. 24 tomorrow, partly cloudy, no rain.

Beautiful compact city, can't fault it.

Besides, no change in the weather is downright boring! Doesn't have the disgustingly high humidity that Dorkland has, either. :p

No it isn't!

Sometimes it's very windy, but not half as often as people would have you believe.
And it's only really wet in winter.
And small? Actually I think it's a good size.

I love it in Wellington!

I used to live in Peterhead............Wellington just can't compare :p It used to be windy, foggy, rainy and the summer temperature NEVER lifted above 13 degrees. You just didn't bother with an umbrella in Peterhead because if the wind didn't snatch it out of your hand, it would turn it inside out: like a big wine glass on a stalk :eek::rofl:!!
I love living here
