I mean it's all such a PITA this friendship lark. You invest your time, you tell them personal things, you go places to do things and what do you get in return? Friendship. Valueless frankly. In fact worse than valueless it actually costs.

Next week: Other people, how many do we need and could we live happily with less of one another?

There seems to be something about the human condition that requires some sort of social interaction outside the immediate family group.

Have to call it a necessary evil.

Perhaps it's a throw back to tribalism.
