Who's going where this year?

What's everyone up to this year holiday wise? Anyone have anything booked already - overseas or local? Day trips, weekends etc...

3 nights in Wellington catching the England v New Zealand world cup cricket match, sitting with the Barmy Army
4 nights in Las Vegas for a vendor conference
1 month in Sydney TBC working for our Sydney franchise.
4 nights at New York visiting vendor offices
6 week break - 4 nights in Singapore, followed by a month in the UK (seeing other vendor in Blighty) and then 4 nights somewhere else (more likely Los Angeles, Hong Kong or Vancouver)
The annual trip to Queenstown to be included somewhere, likely to be Christmas.
4 nights in Las Vegas for a vendor conference
1 month in Sydney TBC working for our Sydney franchise.
4 nights at New York visiting vendor offices
6 week break - 4 nights in Singapore, followed by a month in the UK (seeing other vendor in Blighty) and then 4 nights somewhere else (more likely Los Angeles, Hong Kong or Vancouver)

The inlaws are due next month so we'll be taking them to Queenstown, Wanaka, Mt Cook, Milford Sound etc.
Then in July I'm off to a family wedding in Newquay (my mums paying for my airfare) so it'll be one night in Shanghai, 2 nights in Newquay, 1 night in London, 6 nights back home in Barnsley, one night in London, one night in Tokyo and I'll be back here. I've not been abroad since getting to NZ 4 years ago, the outside world is going to blow my mind!!!!!
We should be doing another couple of Snowboarding trips when winter hits up Wanaka way too.
Then in July I'm off to a family wedding in Newquay (my mums paying for my airfare) so it'll be one night in Shanghai, 2 nights in Newquay, 1 night in London, 6 nights back home in Barnsley, one night in London, one night in Tokyo and I'll be back here. Wellington Anniversary Weekend making next weekend a long weekend with Monday 19th January a public holiday. There's a vintage weekend in Wanganui to entertain the townsfolk.
A week in Tutakaka near Whangarei for a holiday in February.
Going to see 'O Sole Mio' in concert later in February.
Might be going to Wellington to see Billy Idol in concert if I can get tickets.
Going to Wellington to commemorate ANZAC day centenary.
Driving to Auckland in May as it's MIL's 80th birthday.
Going to Wellington to see Elton John in concert in November.

we are on a mini road trip atm.
so done Napier and Rotorua
in the Coromandel at the moment and then back down to Taupo before heading back home end of next week.
not sure if we are going anywhere else this year yet.

Tauranga for a 3 day work conference in Feb.
A week later my wife and I head to a Hayman Island resort for 4 nights.
16 nights in San Diego, Las Vegas, San Francisco and LA in April.
The day after I get back from the US I head down to Queenstown for 4 day for another conference.
In October there may (or may not be) a trip to Tokyo and/or Hong Kong - depends on whether my best mate confirms that he is heading that way for a wedding. Meet him halfway and all that.
Back to the UK for Xmas and New Year. Will be the last trip back there for a while, one would imagine.

No plans so far this year. Hopefully will get away in winter to a pacific island somewhere.

In laws arrive today for a month, so spending 2weeks exploring in and around wellington as day trips. The day they leave OH's best friends arrive, so after a couple of days at home we are going to the South Island, spending 2 nights with friends in Nelson, then to Hamner Springs for one night, then to Christchurch for 3 nights

well if I did have any plans for weekends away before the kids go back to school has been scuppered by a car accident in The Coromandel. everyone involved unhurt but my poor car has been bolted and gaffer taped back together so we could continue on down for 2 nights in Taupo before home and car hopefully to the menders and not written off.

Good effort everyone!
At the start of March we shall be road tripping around the North Island and I can't bloody wait! Ferry from Picton to Welly for a couple of nights, hike Tongariro Crossing, Rotarua, Taupo, Tutukaka to dive Poor Knights Island, Paihia and then all way back down again!
And possibly Cairnes later on in the year. Or Keernz if I am to pronounce it in Kiwi

3 Camping Trips from New Year to now - Cooks Beach, Papamoa and Mangawhai Heads. If we get a new tent I will do another trip to try it out, otherwise I am all camped out for now.
Family coming out in mid-March and mid-August. Tried to warn the winter visitors of what the weather might be, but as it is the main break in the UK of course, they still want to come then..
Gold Coast over Easter for 10 days, then Wellington for the big Anzac Day march.
