Who likes this 'dump'..NZ that is?
By popular demand here's a thread to find out who likes NZ.
Another one of our BE members (still perchance in a developmental stage of knowing if NZ is right for them!!!) described it as a 'dump' and he is keen to see how many will put their hands up and say......
I DO!!! I love NZ...totally and utterly for everything it has bought to my life. Warts and all...cos we all know it ain't perfect!!!!!
As a very 'happy clapper' I am always keen to help even some of the less positive members of our happy little forum.
Any more takers?
Thus far NZ is one nil to the happy crew.

Popular demand? where?
Yes, it's a dump in that it's a dumping ground for many things and people, it also seems to do stange things to people's personalities. We didn't like it there so we left.

Dump??
You mean the rubbish dump called 'Mnt Cleese' in Palmerston North, so called because the locals threw a hissy fit when John Cleese called their town "The best place to commit suicide"????

I love it here, despite the negatives.
Life is what you make it.

So far. Out of six posts 4 like it..one thought NZ was crap and Avid stayed on the fence.
Sorry Pascalr the poll so far shows NZ to be a firm winner for happy emigrees..time will tell if that holds fast.
Cheer up buddy..one day you will get up and go to pastures new.

I love it too! Sure, it has it's faults but nothing that really bothers us too much. Just had my interview for Uni to do Diploma of Teaching and am really looking forward to doing it.

Edited to say - been in Orewa for 8 months, NZ for 11 months

Love it, love it, love it.
We are happy clappers!!!
We have had our problems here, but we never thought life would be trouble free - and our problems (in general) would have happened wherever we were - they are not NZ related.
Even the days we were down to $10 to last 2 days, we wouldn't have changed a thing!
Although I must say life has got easier since we were both promoted....
Genesis, I will be in touch with the mrs - I don't know where time has gone but thanks for the contact details.
