where's your post been?
My ma sends LO something in the post every few weeks... comics, cards etc... most of the time it seems to take about 5 days from the uk to get to us here... a couple of times it's taken longer, and has arrived via Switzerland customs for some reason.
Anyway... 6 weeks ago she posted a comic... this morning it arrived, with a very long explanatory official document attached from Ecuador... according to this document it has travelled as follows : Cumbria > Australia > France > New Zealand > Norway > Ecuador ... In Ecuador they "have sent them to their real destinations in perfect conditions aboard our flights" true enough - it's all in one piece! Correctly addressed, correctly packaged, correct customs dec, correct postage paid... I'm puzzled, but assume it's just got the wrong plane a few times!?! So, just wondering if anyone else has had world-travelling post like this??? |

Re: where's your post been?
This Christmas a friend of mine in the UK sent us a Christmas card, but had lost my address. On the envelope she wrote "Somewhere in North St, Timaru". Any other time of the year it would've been sent back I'm sure, but someone with the Christmas spirit obviously looked us up in the phone book and it arrived two days before Christmas.

Re: where's your post been?
